Is it possible to combine a love for Halloween and black tie style into the same wedding? This black tie bride and her well groomed groom proves it is with their elegant New York City wedding by Ang Weddings and Events! When this couple booked Liberty Warehouse for their wedding on Halloween weekend, they immediately began to envision an elegant Halloween masquerade wedding. With a color palette of burgundy, black, and silver, the day holds a moody, autumn look that was perfect for their vision! Putnam & Putnam did incredible work with the floral designs throughout the day. The bride’s bouquet is full of deep red, almost black roses and striking crimson accents that contrast with her gown beautifully. Arrangements at both the ceremony and reception consist of the same, with greenery added for extra elegance and romance. The reception details include black tapered candles that mix beautifully with the floral arrangements, and are the perfect decor for both an elegant wedding reception and the masquerade after-party that took place!
We love that the bride wore a two-piece Lihi Hod gown for her ceremony and reception. The beading and sequins on the bodice is stunning and so elegant! Paired with a satin skirt, her look is flawless. For the masquerade, where guests were encouraged to change into costume and wear masks, the bride wore a Wardrobe by Dulcinea skirt made of purple, blue and silver tulle and donned a replica of Princess Buttercup’s crown from The Princess Bride. With her well groomed groom dressed as Westley in Dread Pirate Roberts garb, they were able to enjoy a festive masquerade ball with their closest friends and family. You will love all of the gorgeous black tie style and subtle Halloween influences in this New York City wedding! Enjoy!
