At The Black Tie Bride, we are looking for classic, elegant, sophisticated, timeless weddings. There is no one formula that we’re looking for, but some common themes in the weddings we choose will be black tie attire (a plus, but not a requirement), well-structured, understated details that reflect a self-assured style & personal taste of the couple rather than the popular trends of the time, and a day that was full of emotions beautifully captured. We love candlelit receptions, regal ceremonies that are taken seriously (whether that be two people in City Hall Park or a huge cathedral full of five hundred guests), traditions, vintage attire, details passed down from grandparents, and a focus on legacy & honoring the generations that came before.
The Black Tie Bride was started by photographers, and as such we will be extremely selective in both the weddings that we select for feature (making sure that they truly reflect the Black Tie Bride brand), as well as the images that we showcase within each wedding. We are looking for well-lit, well-composed, beautifully captured details and authentic moments. We are looking for simplicity of background and something that makes us and our readers feel something. We are not interested in trendy or overly staged photography.
Before you submit, we ask that you take the time to put together only your best work from your best, most fitting weddings. The Black Tie Bride is an exclusive wedding blog, so unfortunately we are unable to accept weddings that have already been featured else where in print or online.
To submit a wedding to Black Tie Bride, email email@example.com with a link to an online gallery where we can view up to 100 feature-ready (800 pixels wide) images. If your wedding is selected, we will contact you for further information.
